The competition

Telenor AI Factory provides sovereign AI cloud solutions and sustainable infrastructure, enabling Nordic businesses and organisations to produce their own intelligence.

The Telenor AI Factory, together with its partners, is launching a competition to uncover impactful AI use cases that can accelerate adoption across Norway’s public and private sectors.

We invite innovators, researchers, start-ups and enterprises to submit their most promising use cases — and help shape the future of sovereign AI in Norway.

The winners

Will present their use case live on stage at Epicenter Oslo on 26 November, during an event featuring the official winner announcements — alongside inspiring speakers and other engaging sessions.

How winners are selected

All entries will be assessed by an independent jury against the following criteria:

Technical and operational viability within a realistic timeframe

Ability to grow and adapt beyond the initial implementation

Telenor AI Factory, together with partners NVIDIA, StartupLab, TEK Norge and Capgemini, proudly invites you to our event on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

At the event, innovators, researchers, start-ups and enterprises will present their most promising AI use cases — shaping the future of sovereign AI in Norway. This is a unique opportunity to connect with leading professionals, exchange ideas, and gain insights into the many possibilities of AI.

The event will be held at Epicenter Oslo (Edvard Storms gate 2) on 26 November.

A list of participants, the full programme and how to sign up will be announced at a later stage.

  • Multiple entries from the same organisation are allowed but must be submitted separately.
  • Participants must have the capability to implement and realise the proposed use case.
  • No submissions must infringe any third-party rights, including but not limited to copyrights, patents, trademarks and trade secrets, or be subject to other legal restrictions that prevents sharing and use in the context of this competition.
  • Telenor AI Factory may use details of your submission publicly for publicity purposes. All intellectual property remain with the participants.

    Specify the industry

    Provide a concise and descriptive title for you AI use case submission

    Provide a brief overview of your AI use case and its purpose (max 250 words)

    Describe the specific challenge or need your solution addresses (max 250 words)

    Explain how AI will be applied to solve the problem (max 250 words)

    Outline the expected technical benefits or advancements your use case will deliver (max 250 words)

    List the team members involved and their relevant roles or expertise (max 250 words)

    Indicate the type and scale of compute resources required for your solution (max 250 words) (optional)

    Describe the current status of your use case (idea to ready codebase) (max 250 words)

    Estimate the total runtime and workload for completing the use case (max 250 words) (optional)

    Specify any additional support or resources you need beyond compute (max 250 words)

    Telenor AI Factory will process the applicants' and their selected employees' personal data for the purpose of reviewing and evaluating the submission. They will share the personal data with selected partners for the purpose of reviewing and evaluating the submission.
