This privacy notice provides information about which personal data is processed when you are visiting Telenor AI Factory’s webpage https://www.telenoraifactory.no/ or interacting with Telenor AI Factory as a customer or an external stakeholder.

When do we process your personal data

Customer management

  • Personal data relevant to manage the customer relationship, such as contact information, billing data and security logs.

Stakeholder management

  • Processing of contact information for potential and existing customers.
  • Processing of contact information and message when handling requests received through our “contact us” function.

Cookies and IP-addresses

A cookie is a small text file that is placed on the hard disk by a web page server. Cookies contain information that can later be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. Our cookies do not contain information that can identify individuals directly, and the last digits in the IP address are removed to de-identify users.

 We are processing your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Administration related to stakeholders and potential customers
  • Handling contact requests
  • Web analytics to improve our services and products
  • Website security and operations

Legal basis for processing

The processing is based on the following legal basis:

  • Legitimate interest when:
    • handling your customer relationship with us
    • security monitoring of our platform
    • handling contact requests
    • handling data related to potential customers
  • Consent to our newsletter
  • Consenting to cookies (other than necessary cookies that are required for the website to function properly) via the cookie consent banner

With whom do we share your personal data

To fulfil the purposes of the processing, we engage the following third parties:

  • Suppliers involved in the operation of the AI Factory infrastructure
  • Telenor ASA for the purposes of website security and operations
  • Telenor group companies for potential customers and internal shared services

Storage period

Data related to you will be stored as long as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of the processing in question and as long as we have a legal basis for the processing. The information will then be deleted or anonymized for use in statistics and reporting. This includes:

  • Data related to our customers will be deleted when the customer relationship ends, or when the customer represent no longer represents the customer
  • Billing information will be stored and according to relevant laws with regards to financial records in Norway
  • The storage of electronic data for security purposes will be retained for 30 days
  • Data related to you as a potential customer or contact requests will be deleted maximum 2 years after the last interaction
  • When you withdraw your consent to the newsletter your data will be deleted from the newsletter email list
  • The storage period of the cookies is shown in the cookie consent banner

Your rights

You have the following rights when we are processing your data:

  • Right to information
  • Right to access personal data
  • Right to rectification of personal data
  • Right to erasure of personal data
  • Right to restriction of processing of personal data
  • Right to object to the processing of personal data
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to withdraw your consent if our processing is based on this

Note that these rights may be limited, depending on the concrete circumstances, as legally mandated.

You may also lodge a complaint about our processing of information about you to your local Data Protection Supervisory Authority.

International transfers

Telenor AI Factory will in some situations transfer personal to third countries outside the EU/EAA.

For such transfers we are obligated to ensure that your personal data have the same level of privacy protection as provided by the GDPR. To ensure a sufficient level of protection for transfers of personal data, we will make sure that transfers are based on a valid transfer basis and that Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA) are carried out when needed. With transfers out of the EU/EEA area, we will follow the Standard Contractual Clauses developed by the EU Commission, unless (i) the personal data is transferred to a country included on the EU Commission’s list of third countries which has an equivalent level of privacy protections as within EU/EES, or (ii) the personal data is transferred to a company certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
